Doug’s aptitude for leadership and broad range of experience well equip him to bring global service efforts at Harris & Bruno to the next level.
Doug joined the H&B team in 2004, bringing with him nearly 20 years of industry experience. He began his career as Field Service Technician for Dahlgren Canada, Dahlgren International, and Dahlgren USA before serving as Vice President of Technical Services with MMT Manufacturing Corporation in Georgia for nearly a decade. Before joining H&B in November 2004 as a Field Service Technician, Doug held a position at Dahlgren Enterprises LLC as Vice President of Operations. His impressive resume and industry expertise made him a very attractive hire, and he quickly became a major asset to the company. In 2006, Doug was promoted to Field Service Manager, which made him responsible for H&B service efforts across North America, and eventually Asia.
“Doug’s experience in printing, dedication to a job done right, and positive attitude are the key ingredients that will make him a successful Global Service Manager for Harris & Bruno,” said Jim Riga, Harris & Bruno Vice President of Operations. “We are very confident in Doug, and look forward to him helping strengthen our service organizations across the globe. “
Doug is looking forward to his new position.
“My goal as Global Service Manager is to provide across the world the same excellent service that we provide in the United States,” said Doug. “I aim to set up service entities worldwide so that we can react quickly, and offer our customers the highest standard of service globally.”

Dscoop attendees were interested to learn about the ability of ExcelCoat’s chamber/anilox system to lay down coating with particulates such as UV Matte and UV Soft Touch, as well as its ability to apply AQ coatings in a high-throughput environment. Current HP Indigo / ExcelCoat users also stopped by the booth to express their thanks.
“The best way I can sum up our experience with Harris & Bruno and the ExcelCoat installation is ‘It’s been easy,'” said Brian Benson, Chief Executive Officer of Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions, where they bought an ExcelCoat to compliment their HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press. “From the sales process to the on-site training and machine reliability, we couldn’t have had it go any better. We were up and running in four days and the relationship with H&B has been outstanding. Harris & Bruno’s machine is an obvious choice for any PSP who wants to add coating to their product offerings.”
H&B is excited to be bringing machines to HP’s Print China booth April 7-12, the Dscoop EMEA event in Dublin June 3-5, and Graph Expo Sept. 13-16. If you’d like to receive a coating sample booklet with technical details of the machine, please send an e-mail request to email@example.com.
