Harris & Bruno coater applies receptive UV Gloss for downstream foil stamping
A Harris & Bruno ExcelCoat stands in HP’s Print China booth, where it coated 11 pallets of prints from various HP Indigo Digital Presses.
The Harris & Bruno ExcelCoat offline/inline coater for UV and AQ continues to gain exposure at worldwide trade shows.
Last month, an ExcelCoat was showcased in the Print China Hewlett-Packard booth. Next month, one will be demonstrated at Dscoop EMEA in Dublin.
H&B coated 11 pallets of prints at Print China, including thin substrate from the HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press and packaging board from the HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press. Many of the packaging boards were actually part of an Indigo SmartStream Solution. ExcelCoat’s chamber/anilox system was integral in applying a consistent layer of UV gloss that was receptive enough for downstream foil stamping.
“It’s always great to meet with our worldwide HP partners and customers,” said Scott Michels, H&B Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “We look forward to giving demonstrations, answering questions, and showcasing our equipment’s abilities.”
The ExcelCoat series of inline/offline coaters for UV & AQ excels at applying a variety of coatings via its chamber/anilox metering system in a high-throughput environment.
